Meeting topic: China Outsourcing Decisions and Associated Impact(s) Due to Recent Election Results

Guest Speaker: Mr. Gary Abney

Are you ready for Change? How do you think these potential changes will affect your company, and even you, as the economy moves forward? Will the incoming administration make changes that could affect your company's plans to source in China or even other countries outside the United States? Gary will discuss what could be on the horizon for US companies and how Washington could change the supply chain. Join us, as we discuss the potential changes and how we can prepare.

Gary Abney has held positions as a National Sales Manager, Materials Manager, Procurement Manager in manufacturing, distribution and services. He has received his M.B.A. in Management through Wright State University and is a certified C.P.M.. He has conducted various Procurement-oriented Seminars and Presentations throughout the Midwest region, including being a CPSM Training Instructor.

Additionally, Gary has instructed classes in Purchasing, Marketing and Management courses at Sinclair Community College and Procurement, Contracting and Negotiations at Antioch University – McGregor School of Business. Gary has been former President and currently serving on ISM Miami Valley’s Board of Directors as the Professional Development Director.
